MySQL 9.7 is the final release line using the previous sequential versioning model. Subsequent MySQL Innovation and LTS releases use calendar versioning in the YY.M format, where YY represents the year and M represents the scheduled release month.

For example, MySQL 26.7 represents the July 2026 release, and MySQL 27.7 represents the July 2027 release. When a release is designated as an LTS release, its YY.M version remains fixed throughout the support lifecycle of that LTS series.

一个 MySQL 一个 JDK 版本仿佛还在上个世纪。

mysql 和 jdk 都在疯狂的刷版本号

貌似近年来陆陆续续有软件放弃原来的版本号规则，改成年份命名，这是刮的哪阵风？

26.7 就是 9.7.x 之后的下一个 Innovation 版本，这是事实。如果按原来的版本号规则，26.7 应该是 9.8 或者 10.0 ，所以“从 v9.xx 升到了 v26.xx”这种说法其实也可以接收。

我猜你在 #53 想说的是，不能单纯比较版本号 26.x > 9.x 就断定 26.x 比 9.x 更新，如果今年是 2008 年，那确实不能这样比较 08.x>9.x
